What is UAZ and how does it turn into a cinema?

The UAZ is a legendary off-road vehicle, built for all types of roads and even more – for their absence. Used for military and agricultural purposes, as well as in mountainous and hard-to-reach areas, it is known for its durability and reliability. It symbolizes authenticity, strength, and freedom.
Here at the Simo and Familia family farm, we decided to give it a second life – not as a vehicle, but as a unique cinema space in nature. We renovated an old UAZ, keeping its spirit intact, but adding softness, comfort, and a cinematic atmosphere. We transformed it into a unique spot for various screenings, creating an unparalleled ambiance that combines romance, harmony with nature, and a sense of freedom. An experience that cannot be found in traditional cinemas.
And so, the UAZ Cinema under the stars was born – a place where memories come to life, and the screen illuminates beautiful evenings in the Lozen Mountain.

What films will be shown?

We screen selected Bulgarian films from the golden archive of BNT – films with history, meaning, and symbolism. Films that unite generations. Films that tell stories of the human, the humorous, the difficult, and the beautiful. And we do it outdoors, under the sky, where the only sound is the rustling of the leaves – a silence that only nature can provide.
We also feature foreign productions, and from May to November, we will publish the cinema program monthly.
We also show your personal videos from weddings, christenings, engagements, and any personal events that will let you relive those unforgettable emotions and special moments, filled with love and happiness.
